We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Administrator to join our team at Florette in Lichfield, WS13 8NF. 

This role is to provide an administrative and organisational support to the Engineering team by managing documentation, ensuring efficient operations.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week 

Pay: £26181.47 

Main Responsibilities 

  • Manage order placement and accurately maintain the Company’s chosen purchasing system in accordance with procedure.  Record deliveries and reconcile invoices upon receipt, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Provide accurate and timely order and delivery information to engineering team members, as appropriate.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key order processing contacts both internally and externally.
  • Monitor the departments expenditure on a daily basis to ensure cash flow is not exceeded, escalate to the relevant Manager when required.  Generate and provide budget expenditure reports on a weekly and period basis for review.
  • Manage annual contract payments on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.  Notify the relevant Manager of upcoming contract expirations.  Maintain accurate and up to date contract paperwork in line with procedure.
  • Maintain all engineering paperwork processes to an audit ready standard, ensuring filing is kept up to date.

Skills and Experience Required 

  • Completion of a recognised business administration qualification or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in an administrative, technical support or coordinator role, preferably in food manufacturing, FMCG or engineering.
  • Excellent IT skills which include, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.  Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS/ERP) advantageous.
  • Knowledge of engineering or maintenance environments.
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • High level of verbal and written communication skills.
